The collection of scientific papers includes the proceedings of the Fourth International Scientific and Practical Conference “Language teaching in a multicultural environment. Innovative Strategies and Practices for Foreign Language Teaching in a Pluricultural Environment” that took place at the school of Foreign Languages and Area Studies, Moscow Lomonosov University on the 12-13th December 2025. The published articles represent a variety of cross-disciplinary interests, both theoretical and practical, which discuss a wide range of topics related to foreign language teaching and learning, especially in such areas as: traditions and innovations in teaching and learning foreign languages and cultures; сompetence-based approach in teaching foreign languages and cultures; foreign language teaching for specific purposes; digital technologies and artificial intelligence technologies in teaching foreign languages. This material is intended for university and school foreign language teachers, language course instructors, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in “Linguistics”, profile “Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures”, as well as for anyone interested in the issues of teaching foreign languages and cultures in the era of globalization and digitization of educational processes. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy of the facts and research results presented in their articles, as well as compliance with ethical rules, including the originality of content, authenticity of authorship, and the absence of material prohibited in the Russian Federation.
