«Тирания ценностей» Карла Шмитта: борьба за благо и ее возможные последствия

Maria Marey's analysis of Carl Schmitt's "The Tyranny of Values" explores his critique of elevating any set of values to an absolute status. Schmitt argues that when political struggles are framed as a battle for ultimate "Good" against "Evil," it leads to tyranny. This "ethicization" of politics destroys the realm of legal negotiation, transforming opponents into absolute enemies who must be annihilated rather than opposed. The pursuit of an abstract, supreme value thus justifies limitless violence, creating a more destructive and total form of conflict than mere clashing interests. Schmitt's warning is that the fight for a perfect good can produce the most terrible consequences.
