This monograph is devoted to the problems of legal regulation of missionary activity in the Russian Federation. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of Russian legislation on freedom of conscience and religious associations in historical, comparative legal and regulatory aspects. The development of regional legislation on missionary activity is separately investigated. The problems of legal regulation of missionary activity in the Russian Federation are studied in the context of the evolution of legal awareness, the origins of which are found in the legislation on religion of the USSR. The main problem of the study is revealed through the prism of the analysis of legal uncertainty. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of judicial practice. This work is the first systematic study of legislation on missionary activity. The results of the research can be used in lawmaking, teaching legal and theological disciplines.
