Культура и образование в мире постпандемии: новые вызовы.
The article is based on an annual survey of 10th and 11th grades’ schoolchildren conducted by HSE’s Laboratory of the Sociology of Science and Education in two districts of St. Petersburg. The concept of digital divide operationalized as inequality in online practices between people with different educational and socio-economic level is discussed. An account of the most popular specialized online resources among the respondents is given.
The report presents an analysis of the stages of transformation of the national identity of Russian-speaking Korean community living in Russia 150 years. This process can be traced to the comparative analysis of the traditional reference to the territorial and cultural backgrounds with respect to migration of Koreans in the Soviet Union and Russia. The study is based on data Union and the National Population Census (1926, 1939, 1959, 1970.2002, 2010.). During this period, there have been radical changes in the Korean way of life. Three main factors that determine the ethnic community - the language, territory, culture, Koreans were actually lost. The territory of residence Koreans - it all Russia and CIS countries. On the other hand, these facts prove highly adaptive capacity Koreans, tolerance, ability to build cross-cultural communication with all the peoples of Russia and CIS countries.
Nowadays, Africa is involved in turbulent processes of transformation and globalization. However, the traditional way of life does not disappear but adapts to new conditions. The contributors study the sociocultural aspects of this phenomenon, as they manifest themselves in different countries of the continent.
From 13 to 27 of June 2017 Russian social anthropologists worked in the Republic of Uganda. The study was the first stage of the three-year scientific project “Orthodox Christians and Old Believers in Uganda: Socio-cultural Processes in African Christian Communities”. The aim of the Project is to study the phenomenon of Ugandan Orthodox Christianity and Old Believers in its sociocultural aspect.
