Waveguide Termination with a Magnetic Wall on the Mushroom-Shaped Metamaterial Modeling
P. 1-3.
Waveguide termination modeling with a mushroom-shaped wall were carried out. Voltage standingwave
ratio (VSWR) and reflection coefficient (S11) frequency dependencies were obtained. High values of the mushroomshaped structure unloaded quality factor are the main advantage of explored design. The using of distributed LC resonant circuit with dimensions which significantly smaller than wavelength allows creating a compact termination working in microwave range.

Permalloy films with one-dimensional profile modulation of submicron periodicityare fabricated based on commercially available DVD-R discs and studied using ferromagnetic resonance method and micromagnetic numerical simulations. The mainresonance position shows in-plane angular dependence which is strongly reminis-cent of that in ferromagnetic films with uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. The main sig-nal and additional low-field lines are attributed ...

The investigation of microwave sensor on the planar mushroom-shaped metamaterial is considered. The results of numerical simulation microwave sensor for measurement of physical quantities and monitoring parameters of technological processes using CST Studio Suite are presented. Also it is shown that the microstrip sensor has geometrical dimensions much smaller operating wavelength while maintaining a high ...

Propagation of volume spin magnetostatic waves in meander-shaped ferromagnetic films with vertically and horizontally coupled segments is studied. Conditions under which forward and backward volume magnetostatic waves simultaneously exist in the films are determined. Micromagnetic simulation and expansion in terms of plane waves are used to calculate internal effective magnetic fields and dispersion characteristics of the ...

Electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structures has a wide range of applications in modern microwave devices. One of the most popular EBG structures is mushroom-like frequency selective surface (FSS). Due to its unique properties, it can exhibit a rejection around its resonant frequency. In this paper a dual rejection band FSS is designed and simulated. The ...

A design of a band-stop frequency-selective surface based on a planar mushroom-shaped metamaterial with an electronically tunable stopband has been proposed and investigated. The results of numerical simulation and experimental measurements of the parameters of a finite section of the metamaterial with mounted varicaps are presented. These results illustrate the shift of the structure stopband ...

This paper presents the results of modeling a passive RFID tag MG6 in the range of 860-960 MHz with a known topology, focused on identification applications of tagged objects. The tag is located on a flexible substrate, which entails changes in the electrodynamic characteristics during flexible deformations. The most typical forms of flexible deformations during ...

Taking into account an effect of the vortex magnetic field on the skyrmion non-perturbatively, we find that the repulsion between them is suppressed with increase in the dimensionless strength of ...
