Heat treatment of a rod dielectric materials using microwave radiation
The results of theoretical and experimental research in the field of high-performance microwave technology for the heat treatment of core material with low thermal conductivity are presented. The microwave method allows uniform heating of the dielectric rod throughout the volume, leads to the completeness of the polymerization reaction and high strength characteristics of the resulting products. Experimental studies conducted at the oscillation frequency of the electromagnetic field 2450 MHz, and the value of rod diameter of 20 mm. The discrepancy between the theoretical and experimental values of temperature in the material of the rods did not exceed 3% at the cross section, and the temperature deviation in the material of the rod from the nominal value of the temperature did not exceed 5 %.
