К вопросу об изучении социально-политических взглядов испанского просветителя Гаспара де Ховельяноса
The article determines the pole and place of Spain in the system of European security in the face of modern challenges and threats. In this regard, the author explores the developments of the Kingdom’s policy in the sphere of international security at the conceptual and practical levels. The attention is paid to the dynamics and direction of the process of armed forces building in Spain. The paper concludes on the perspectives of the country’s participation in the solution of the key problems in the sphere of international security.
At the beginning of the XXI century in the field of tourism services supply exceeds demand. Regions for which tourism is part of a development strategy are coming up with new ways to create an unusual, attractive and competitive offer. In this regard, cultural tourism, including architectural, museum, gastronomic, religious, musical, cinema-induced and other types of tourism, is gaining special popularity. The chapter discusses the features of the functioning of cinema tourism in Spain.
On the basis of A. Przeworski’s game-theoretic approach the qualitative transformation of “National Movement” – an authoritarian-dominant party in Franco’s Spain – during the global economic crisis period (1957-1958) is analyzed. The strategies of political factions (the coalition of technocrats-monarchists and postfalangists) were identified as the basic elements of the analysis.
The regular XIV Spanish-Russian symposium took place on the 21st and 22th of June at the Cajasol Foundation in the central square of Seville. The title of the meeting “Modern challenges for economic and social policies in Spain and Russia” included several issues to discuss: the socioeconomic development of two countries in the context of global changes, the dynamics of the Spanish-Russian cooperation, the impact of sanctions on the bilateral relations, decentralization and its influence on national and subregional development, the comparison of business activities in two countries, tourism development, etc.
June 13-14, 2017 the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences held the 13th Russian-Spanish Seminar, organized by the Centre of Iberian Studies and titled "Europe in the period of «New Normal»: political, economic and social strategies of Russia and Spain". Touching upon a wide range of issues the participants sought to analyze the processes of transformation in Spain and Russia in the recent period of "New Normal".
In the present collective monography by the Russian and Spanish authors key problems of the current economic policy in both countries are analyzed. Each of authors introduces the vision of national situations in a global context.
