Th e purpose of this article is to present the baseline information and the specifi c operational guidelines which are connected with the process of preparing and writing case studies. In this article the authors disclose the attributes of good cases and the ways of their educational value raise by connecting the case content with corresponding theories and concepts in the process of managers’ professional education. Th e presented methodological material is useful for those who make the fi rst steps toward preparing for the case writing and it also off ers a variety of operational guidelines forexperienced teachers and management researches.
