Пять профилей технологической готовности школьных учителей: от «скептиков» к «исследователям»
The material presents the study of Russian school teacher’s and leader’s beliefs regarding the use of digital technologies. The study, conducted in March 2020 in 20 regions, involved 8188 teachers and administration rep- resentatives from 190 educational organizations. Technology readiness — the propensity to use technological tools to solve problems at work and at home was measured with TRI2.0. Indicators of technology readiness — optimism, in- novativeness, discomfort and insecurity — were analyzed in the context of the position held (teacher / leader). Five groups of teachers were also determined: skeptics, pioneers, hesitators, explorers, avoiders. The main barriers to the dis- tance learning transition, the existing teacher’s experience of the transition and their initiative were studied.
The results of the study are especially relevant in connection with the transfor- mation processes that took place in education during the pandemic. The re- vealed differences between the groups of teachers allow, firstly, to assess the range of actors in the diffusion of digital innovations; secondly, to formulate recommendations for the implementation of digital technologies in the educa- tional process based on the characteristics of each group.
The material will be of interest to those who implement projects for the digital transformation of school education; researchers studying changes in the edu- cation system caused by the COVID 19 pandemic; heads and specialists of edu- cational organizations who collaborate with representatives of each of the five determined groups.
