Thermal insulation systems for the Arctic
About 20 percent of the territory of the Russian Federation is located in the Arctic. Construction in such regions is becoming one of the priorities of modern technological development, which provides for the creation of special construction systems focused on the construction of high-risk facilities beyond the Arctic Circle. Such facilities include offshore oil vessels, oil and gas platforms, equipment for the transportation of petroleum products, gas processing plants and oil refineries.
For each of the construction projects, it is necessary to choose the right insulation, which will provide high thermal insulation, as well as be fireproof and durable. The research methodology described in the article is based on the method of mathematical planning of the experiment and statistical processing of its results with subsequent analytical optimization.
