Modeling of the composition of ecologically safe clay-gypsum
The clay gypsum of each deposit is an environmentally safe natural material. The deposits differ in their mineralogical and phase composition and have different properties. Such a spread of the properties of natural clay gypsum, including after their heat treatment, makes it difficult to analyze and, ultimately, use them. The factor of "unpredictability of the results obtained" is one of the reasons why this type of natural composites is practically not used in modern construction.
The results of studies of the properties of model compositions of clay-gypsum binder are presented. The theoretical basis of the research is the methodology for creating new building materials developed in MSU. According to the proposed provisions, the properties of composite (or multicomponent) systems can be evaluated using the concept of a model material manufactured in compliance with certain technological parameters. The optimal calcination temperature of the artificial clay-gypsum binder was determined, and the results were graphically interpreted using triple diagrams. According to the results of research, it is established that most natural structures in their natural state or after modification can be used as a basis for the manufacture of building plaster mixes.
