Optimization of plastic foam composition for insulation systems
Building insulation systems should provide solutions to the problems of creating optimal conditions for load-bearing building elements, reducing heat loss due to the thermal insulation layer, and creating comfort in buildings. The results of experimental studies are presented, the purpose of which is to optimize the composition of extruded polystyrene foam, to develop methods for selecting its composition and to develop systems for using products based on extruded polystyrene foam. The use of the main provisions of the analytical optimization method is provided, which allows to significantly reduce the material costs and processing time of experimental results. The aspects of the implementation of building systems using extruded polystyrene foam are studied both from the point of view of minimizing heat losses through contact zones, and from the influence of the vapor permeability of the building structure and the influence on the temperature and humidity conditions of the premises.
