Aspects of the use of effective insulation systems in solving technological, social and environmental problems are considered. It is emphasized that the application of the developed insulation systems is possible in the construction of any type of low-rise buildings in any climatic region. The heat resistance of the insulation components of building structures with different types of insulation sheet joints was evaluated. The possibility of installing seamless insulation coatings based on polyethylene foam using lock joints with subsequent welding of individual sheets with hot air was considered. The expediency of using polyethylene foam in floating floors with a monolithic floor screed or with a protective layer, as well as in the insulation systems of frame cottages and the insulation of frameless warehouses and hangars. Examples of work on the insulation of facades of frame cottages and frameless hangars are given. The results of studying the condition of wooden frame cottage buildings after five years of operation are presented.
