In the collective monograph, information law is considered, on the one hand, as a special branch of law and part of legal information, on the other hand, it is a type of information and part of the information resource of the state and its legal system. The role of terms in the ordering of sources of law is considered, taking into account the importance of information security issues. The need to distinguish legal terms from general terms characterizing the subject area of law is noted. The author's definitions of the concept, definitions, and conceptual apparatus are given. Separately, we should mention the reports on the comparison of the conceptual framework of information and other branches of law.
