The article is devoted to the peculiarities of international strategy development. The main goal of the research is to provide the system of the most relevant factors that should be analyzed for the right international strategic choice. The factors are divided into three major groups, industry factors, macroeconomic factors and company’s internal factors. After analyzing these factors the company should be able to take the top priority decision on its international business that is about determining the right degree of adaptation and standardization. Growing intensity of foreign trade liberalization during last decades, mainly evident in tariff reductions and increased access to domestic service sectors, provokes application of new protectionist trade policy methods, like restrictions on foreign participation in government procurement. Such measures become of vital importance in case of developing countries after their accession to the WTO. The article deals with the possible ways of providing support to national producers through government orders allocation in theory and in practice, illustrated by public procurement regimes in China, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico.

The TPP Agreement is studied in the context of intra-regional agricultural trade commitments. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) parties are a diverse group in terms of involvement in global agricultural trade and the level of applied tariffs on agriculture and food. The specifics of commitments under the TPP are revealed including a record reduction of tariffs on agricultural products with a number of exceptions and incorporation of WTO-plus and WTO-beyond obligations. The prospects and challenges of the TPP intra-regional agricultural trade liberalization for Russia’s agricultural exports are considered.
This article is devoted to analysis of international legal regulation of taking trade restricting measures concerning international trade in marine living resources. The author studies multilateral environmental agreements and case law of international courts and tribunals in the context of taking above mentioned measures. The author gives reasons for necessity of taking trade restricting measures concerning international trade in marine living resources to achieve at one and the same time purposes of environmental protection and economic development. Trade restricting measures become standards of economic activity in the sphere of trade in marine living resources for the purposes of sustainable management, fair and mutually beneficial cooperation of the states.
Th e last two decades have seen a rapid expansion of Regional trade agreements (RTA) including republics of the Community of Independent States (CIS). Th e reason for this phenomenon is that the RTAs have certain advantages. At the same time the RTAs can greatly complicate the trading environment, creating a web of incoherent rules. In order to avoid a further growing tension between RTAs and Multilateral Trading System there is only one way: harmonizing both.
Over the years of WTO work, the inconsistency of positions on individual issues between countries, as well as groups of countries, has often led to a deadlocks in the solution of certain trade and political problems. However, the joint search for mutually beneficial, compromise ways, the willingness of participants to Dialogue at the WTO platform demonstrated the viability of the multilataral trading system.
