Употребление неопределенных местоимений серии на -ЛИБО в контексте прямого отрицания

The paper is devoted to the question of the use of pronouns of the libo-series in the context of the direct negation. The question remains highly controversial, despite fundamental research on the semantics of indefinite pronouns. The study is based on the data of the Russian National Corpus and in the Corpus of Russian Student Texts as well as on the experimental data. The types of contexts that license the use of pronouns, as well as those that do not allow such use are described.
The author comes to the conclusion that the using of the pronouns of libo-series under negation is determined by the semantics of the diversity of the set designated by a nominal group.
