Today, various issues related to ethics at the university are increasingly covered by the Russian media and actively discussed in the higher education sector. Researchers note that ethical regulation in Russian universities is not well developed and effective. Under such conditions, the study of the foreign universities' practices in developing the ethical infrastructure may be extremely relevant. In this paper, the authors have analyzed the codes of ethics of several world's leading universities and systematized information on objects, methods and procedures of ethical regulation in universities. The results of this work may serve as a basis for developing codes of ethics that fit the mission, goals and objectives of a particular university in the best way possible.
