The article discussed in detail the question of the place of management information system of automotive sector in the corporate information environment of the enterprise, its interaction with other systems to support business processes of transport service.
The author gives a detailed list of the main business processes of the transport department of the company, which should provide automated information management system. Considerable attention is paid to the mechanism of formation of key performance indicators (KPI) of the transport department of the company and the building of balanced scorecard system, which establishes a causal link between the objectives and indicators, as well as takes into account interdependence of various indicators.
The author gives examples of key performance indicators, which reflect the efficiency of the transport service departments of the enterprise and the overall management of the transport service. The article provides an analysis of specific software solutions offered by Russian venders of corporate software, as well as a detailed description of the two software packages.
The author proposes to significantly extend the functionality of the automated system of management accounting in the automotive sector of enterprise, adding advanced subsystem of system of maintenance and repair of autos. Such subsystem should comprise preventative maintenance based on condition monitoring and prevent equipment failures.
