Специфика идеализма Платона

Кочеров С. Н., Ковалёнок А. А.

This article contains some reflections of the authors concerning some aspects of ontology of Plato in respect of the presentation of categories of ideal existence and ideal unity of the world. There is an attempt to show that Plato, contrary to a popular opinion, did not succeed in proving consistently the ideal unity of the world, that the unity of the world in Plato’s belief is not ontological, substantive but is rather logicalcategory. Therefore, his idealism cannot quite apply for the status of absolute, consistent and complete.
