Русская религиозная философия и вопрос о христианском гуманизме
One of the current problems of research on the history of Russian religious philosophy is the question of how the concepts of its language correspond to the concepts of the language of contemporary philosophy and, accordingly, how relevant the concepts developed in it are to current intellectual discussions. The studies of the Christian humanism projects, elaborated in Russian religious philosophy, are widely known, but we can ask the question: to what extent does the interpretation of the ideas of Russian religious thinkers as Christian humanism allow us to better understand the meaning of these ideas today? At first glance, in the context of contemporary continental thought, the very concept of “humanism”would seem to have been discarded long ago, since it has been systematically criticized, starting with M. Heidegger and M. Foucault and ending with such current trends as posthumanism and antihumanism. Russian philosophy also includes criticism of humanism; does this mean that only this branch of Russian thought can be relevant to contemporary times? Still, no, because in currentdiscussions the concept of humanism is not only criticized, but also used productively — for instance, in Ch. Taylor’s theory of secularization. Using the concept of “exclusive humanism”, Taylor describes both the origins of secularization and the immanent values that religion faces today. Attention to Taylor’s optics allows us to show that the arguments of Russian religious thinkers about humanism and Christianity are by no means conceptually outdated, but demonstrate the tension between humanism and religion, which is characteristic of the ongoing modernity in general. At the same time, Russian thinkers — like Taylor and contemporary critics of humanism — were aware of the dangers of humanist discourse, as well as sensitive to the political consequences of various anthropological concepts. русская религиозная философия, гуманизм, секуляризация, религия, теология, религиозная антропология, Ч.
