The development of IT technologies entails the transformation of society. A digital state is impossible without a digital economy, the formation of which is currently one of the priority areas. This article discusses the main vectors of the development of the digital economy of the Russian Federation and abroad, based on the use of end-to-end digital technologies. Digital technologies used to manage society in modern conditions are indicated. The assessment of the countries of the world according to the Digital development index is given, the problems associated with the assessment of the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product are identified. The factors that accelerate the developme nt of the digital economy in the countries of the world are formulated. The original innovative technologies that influence the global innovation infrastructure are compared. Special attention is paid to identifying critical points that determine the risks of the digital economy.
The logical result of the study was the conclusion that it is necessary to improve the regulatory framework and use advanced foreign experience in social development, which will ensure increased productivity and economic growth.
