Оценка потенциальных зон для стратегического развития городского электрического транспорта на территории Российской Федерации

This article examines the issue of assessing potential urban electric transport development zones at the strategic level in the long-term planning horizon. This analysis is necessary to improve public policy in the field of transport, including in order to achieve the national goals of the Russian Federation and the goals of the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2035. The position of the scientific community regarding the need to develop electric transport in the country, as well as the position of the industry community regarding the swinging prospects for the development of electric transport, has been studied. It is determined that the key advantages of electric transport and its potential can be developed in the zone of gravity to the largest power generation facilities, protected areas, as well as in cities with significant height differences and a shortage of gas stations of all types. As a result of the analysis, cities have been identified in which new electric transport systems may arise, as well as a recommended priority for its implementation.
