Организационная солидарность как механизм представительства и защиты интересов в малом бизнесе

The article discusses the role of formal institutions and informal practices regulating the interaction between the workers and employers in small companies. Based on the survey of small business Moscow we determine their attitude to the institutions representing their interests and protection of labor rights, interaction policies between workers and employers (owners of businesses), as well as the connection between these policies and internal interaction within small teams. We show that the lack of effective institutional channels in small businesses is compensated by the development of alternative informal mechanisms representation and protection of the employees’ interests. Becoming a commonly accepted practice these informal mechanisms lead to the formation of a specific model of organizational solidarity and contribute to the stability of the existing employment relations.
