МакВильямс доказала теорему о продолжении: изометрии Хемминга линейных кодов над конечными полями продолжаются до мономиального преобразования. Вуд обобщил этот результат для фробениусовых колец. В данной работе эта теорема доказана для линейных кодов над конечными квазифро-бениусовыми модулями с коммутативным кольцом коэффициентов. В работе используется описание квазифробениусовых модулей в терминах теории характеров, где особую роль играют различающие характеры.
