Guide-and-Rescale: Self-guidance Mechanism for Effective Tuning-Free Real Image Editing
Titov V., Khalmatova M., Ivanova A. A. et al., , in: 18th European Conference, Milan, Italy, September 29–October 4, 2024, Proceedings, Part LXXI. Computer Vision – ECCV 2024. (LNCS, volume 15129).: Springer, 2024. P. 235–251.
Despite recent advances in large-scale text-to-image generative models, manipulating real images with these models remains a challenging problem. The main limitations of existing editing methods are that they either fail to perform with consistent quality on a wide range of image edits or require time-consuming hyperparameter tuning or fine-tuning of the diffusion model to preserve ...

Proceedings of the 11th Workshop on Automated Knowledge Base Construction (AKBC 2026)
[б.и.], 2026.
While Large Language Models (LLMs) have revolutionized NLP, they remain prone to hallucinations, reasoning “mode-collapse” in open-ended generation, and a lack of factual provenance. The Automated Knowledge Base Construction (AKBC) workshop addresses a key missing piece of the generative era: structured knowledge. Knowledge Bases (KBs) serve as ground truth for fact verification, the semantic backbone ...

Amplifying Latent Safety in Large Language Models via Gated Activation Steering
Roman Prosvirnin, Suslov A., Aleksei Soldatov et al., Computation 2026 Vol. 14 No. 10 Article 261
Abstract Safety-aligned language models often encode that a request is harmful yet still comply with it. We turn this gap between internal recognition and observable behavior into an inference-time defense. The proposed activation-steering method uses a multiplicative operator that amplifies the residual-stream component along a harm-recognition direction. Intervention strength scales with the model’s own assessment of ...

Makarov D. M., Kalikin N., Fashchevsky K. A. et al., Electrochimica Acta 2026 Vol. 579 Article 150159
Machine learning (ML) has become a powerful tool for accelerating the development of carbon-based supercapacitors; however, most published models assume that a single predictive framework can describe both conventional porous carbons and hybrid carbon electrodes. Here, we test this assumption using a comprehensive benchmark dataset and an extended literature-curated dataset enriched with synthesis- and electrolyte-related descriptors. Three ML algorithms ...

Groshev Maksim, Rybakov Petr, Teterin N. et al., Sensors 2026 Article 6171
Manual assessment of soybean yield components, such as pod number, is laborious, time-consuming, and subjective. Existing computer-vision approaches based on object detection or instance segmentation perform poorly on close-range RGB imagery of soybean canopies due to severe occlusions, ambiguous plant boundaries, and the high cost of bounding-box annotation. To address these challenges, we propose a ...
