Шекспир и культура Возрождения
The collective monograph is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the International scientific seminar "Shakespeare and the Culture of the Renaissance", annually held by the Department of Comparative Literature and the Center for Modern Comparative Studies of the Russian State University for the Humanities. Under one cover are collected the works of researchers of the European Renaissance, in which the most important problems of Shakespearean studies and comparative studies are understood in the light of historical poetics. Old and new genres are considered in the process of increasing reflection, in the relationship between poetics and pragmatics, archetypal plots are traced in their genre fate and on the "countercurrent", and the central problem of translation becomes "untranslatability" both in cultural and linguistic terms. The publication is of a scientific nature and is intended for senior philology students, master's students and postgraduate students of the historical and philological faculties.
