«Лена и люди» Елены Фанайловой: поэт в поисках своего читателя
The poem by Elena Fanaylova, “Lena and People”, is examined against the backdrop of several works from the “school canon” and in dialogue with contemporary poetry, as well as “stage”, “popular” (trivial), “poetry of officials”, and other types of poetry. The article demonstrates that Fanaylova’s heroine avoids the romantic-modernist cult of the creator as an exceptional, superhuman figure, as well as the “love for the people” and “kenosis” (self-abasement) often characteristic of modernist authors. She also avoids the play with poetic “masks,” which is natural for stage poetry, as well as the game of “sincerity,” for which there is a demand from the audience seeking primarily “lyricism,” confessionalism, and the poet’s candor in poetry. In her relationship with her referential circle, the heroine of the poem—the poet—chooses the path of “counter-intentionality,” which implies the emergence of mutual interest and reciprocal movement toward each other by the participants in communication
