Ethnic Environmentalism in the Russian Regions: National Identity and Nature Protection
Svetlana Tulaeva, Henry L., Snarski Y., Europe-Asia Studies 2024 Vol. 76 No. 9 P. 1417–1438
Increased public awareness of environmental problems and the strengthening of diverse identities may lead to the emergence of “ethnic environmentalism.” These are movements that make environmental claims associated with the interests of an ethnic community. We develop this concept by examining protests in the Russian regions. Our findings suggest that ethnic identity facilitates environmental activism ...

The child-rearing scale (CRS) as a measure of authoritarianism holds promise for cross-cultural public opinion research but its validity beyond the Western and, in particular, American context has never been investigated. Authoritarianism Beyond Disposition: A Literature Review of Research on Contextual Antecedents
Schnelle C., Baier D., Hadjar A. et al., Frontiers in Psychology 2021 Vol. 12 Article 676093
A core debate in authoritarianism research relates to the stability of authoritarianism, i.e., whether it is a dispositional phenomenon socialized in early childhood or even genetically predisposed, or whether it is impacted by time-sensitive, exterior conditions. Whereas certain individual authoritarian tendencies emerge as a rather stable personality trait, there is also empirical evidence for a ...

Кооптация оппозиции в региональных парламентах России: игра с нарушением правил
Turovsky R. F., Sukhova M.,

In the author's past studies, the sanctions were considered as ...

Conceiving one‘s national group as transgenerational: Effects on attitudes towards ‘foreign’ and diaspora migrants.
Boehnke K., Schiefer D., van Egmond M. C. et al., Plos One 2020 Vol. 15 No. 4 P. e0230303-1–e0230303-21
