AI Users Earn Up to 41.8% More Than Non-Users
Research conducted by economists at HSE University has revealed a significant correlation between the regular use of GenAI in the workplace and higher pay among Russian employees. The study found that individuals who frequently use GenAI in their professional activities earn notably more than those who reject these new tools or resort to them occasionally. The salary premium for highly qualified specialists reaches 41.8%. The article was published in the Voprosy Ekonomiki journal.

Personal Interest in Doctoral Thesis Topic Most Important for Confidence in Successful Defence
A researcher at HSE University analysed data on 1,539 doctoral students from 161 Russian universities to identify which features of a thesis topic are associated with academic success and engagement. The most important factor was found to be personal interest in the research topic, which was associated with almost all key aspects of doctoral programme experience—from engaging with the academic supervisor to research activity and confidence about successfully defending the thesis. The findings have been published in Higher Education.

Food is analyzed as a cultural phenomenon of modern (modern) society and a manifestation of the work of social imagination expressed in the production and construction of sociocultural, communicative and artistic forms of everyday life and media reality. In the structure of representation of the late modern social imagination, food is critically examined through the products of modern creative industries, works of contemporary art and design, as well as such topical media formats as memes and mukbang.

Целью работы является обзор генезиса исторической мысли — от её античных протоформ до настоящего времени. Широкомасштабная критика самих оснований европейской науки, происходившая на протяжении многих десятилетий, начиная со второй половины XIX в., приведшая к смене научной парадигмы на рубеже XIX и ХХ вв., требует не только осмотрительности при выстраивании объяснительных моделей, но и обоснования самого исследовательского инструментария, прежде чем его применять. В статье в качестве инструментария выступает сама история как «металогика для всякой логики». Европейская культура имеет два основных питающих истока: иудео-христианскую традицию и традицию античной греко-римской классики. Оба русла внесли свой вклад в формирование исторической мысли. Согласно библейскому откровению, Бог является творцом не только мира, но и самого времени. Библия содержит саму идею исторического процесса, имеющего начало и конец, и, главное, смысл. В статье дано описание специфики библейской философии истории, прослеживаются библейские основания формирования европейской исторической мысли, пути её трансформации в Средние века, эпоху Ренессанса и в Новое время. В XIX в., при переходе к неклассическим философским системам, параллельно возникают и неклассические модели исторического процесса. Возникает кризис историзма, который в ХХ столетии углубляется и, как следствие, происходит активизация эсхатологической тематики в разных вариантах («конец истории», «постистория» и т. п.).
