Дисциплинарное и концептуальное многообразие исследований жизненных выборов
The article presents a Special Issue of the Journal dedicated to the study of life choices. The authors substantiate the relevance of the development of this direction in modern context, identify the key vectors for the development of theoretical and empirical scientific work on issues of choice and decision-making, as well as the main methodological challenges in the designated field. The article describes the diversity of the current landscape in life choice research and shows that certain approaches developed within disciplines such as sociology, economics, and psychology allow us to consider the mechanics of decision-making from different points of view and assess their consequences, but do not yet offer a harmonized conceptual apparatus and a comprehensive view of the subject. The authors see interdisciplinarity and the use of combined sources and methods of collecting empirical data as promising directions for further development of this research topic. In the final part, the authors present the articles included in the Special Issue.
