Сравнительное исследование эффекта МакКоллоу у здоровых испытуемых и у пациентов с шизофренией
In a single-stage retrospective study to assess the functional state of the visual system, the parameters of the McCollough effect were evaluated in 25 healthy subjects and 25 patients with paranoid schizophrenia (F20.0) receiving course treatment with antipsychotic drugs. The McCollough effect consists in the appearance of an illusory shade when a black-and-white grid is presented after the visual system is preadapted with colored grids of different orientations. It is shown that in the group of patients with schizophrenia, the occurrence of the McCollough effect requires more time for development. It is concluded that the McCollough effect and the time required to achieve it reflect the adaptive abilities of the visual system, which are indicators of brain disorders.
