О некоторых проблемах применимости формулировки универсальности категорического императива и их возможном значении
Concerning an idea that Kant proposed a strict, universal and in a certain sense final answer to the question «What should I do?», there is a deal with the problems in formulations of the categorical imperative, evoked reasonable possibility of crucial additions to these formulations. The purpose of this article is to examine the limits of the legitimacy of practical hopes for the formulation of universality. The article examines how the formulation of universality is consistent with the problem of the diversity of maxims, theoretically corresponding to the same act. According to the author, the selective attitude towards these maxims is fraught with relativism, but the need to consider them all creates a fundamental problem for a complete formal analysis and proof of the legality of at least one act. The limited potential of the prohibitive imperative’s function is also reviewed under the conditions of possible moral dilemmas, any solutions to which can be formally unsatisfactory. On these grounds, the article criticizes the various hopes of Kant’s resolute interpreters that Kantian formulation is satisfactory as an exact and only relevant criterion for moral evaluation of actions
