A literature review provides a framework for building a new conceptual model or theory and plays an important role in the design of a study. A growing number of publications from the different fields is related to review article. The interest to understand the review methodology increases. Chapter 3 discusses in detail the goals and objectives of the review as a stand-alone research article. The type of review article and the value of this type of scientific publication are discussed. A comparison between systematic, comprehensive, and classical reviews is made.
