Суть и границы немецких «новых правых»: к истории и историографии одного понятия
This article raises for the first time in Russian humanity studies the question of defining the sense and boundaries of the “New Right” political movement in the Federal Republic of Germany in general and of their major contemporary intellectual centre – “Institut für Staatspolitik” in particular. The author reviews the key trends in the German-language historiography and, on the basis of works written by its leading representatives, forms an overall picture of the current scholarly debates. Special attention is paid to the issue of correlation of the “New Right” with such political categories as right-wing radicalism, right-wing extremism and conservatism. By introducing some unique primary sources into the Russian scholarly space, the author questions the objectivity of the established historiographical schemes. This article aims to provide primary terminological clarity on a subject heretofore unknown to the Russian academic community and to serve as the basis for further publications on this topic.
