Государственная социальная политика США в третьем десятилетии XXI века
Fundamental changes are taking place in American society due to the changing needs of the country's population, which include an increasing number of elderly people, working mothers, low-paid workers whose incomes are insufficient to support families, and workers who do not have long-term job security. The efforts of the current administration are aimed at strengthening the middle class, which is becoming more and more eroded every year and there is an increasing polarization of income. Bidenomics is economy from the bottom up and middle out, not from the top down-because when the middle class does well, the poor have a ladder up and the wealthy still do well. The agenda includes comprehensive modernization of infrastructure, investment in green energy, reform of the healthcare system, migration reform, the revival of trade unions and a number of other pressing social issues aimed at solving the problems of low-income families. However, there is a deep political split in the country, as a result of which the approval of social policy is problematic.
