Профессия или развитие: потенциал, подходы и модели отраслевого дополнительного образования детей в России
Extracurricular activities and additional education programs are traditionally considered as an element of the career guidance system for children: numerous studies demonstrate their high potential for the development of competencies focused on choosing a profession. To increase the effectiveness of programs that provide educational and professional transfer as their ideal result (the school — university — enterprise model), it is important to involve industrial partners who not only and not so much provide financial or logistical support, but set a reference professional image. This study is devoted to the problem of identifying educational strategies of students, evaluating their effectiveness in the context of continuing professional education in the direction of an industry-specific educational program implemented at school or in the organization of additional education for children. The study is based on data from a survey of children, teachers and managers of a network of organizations of sectoral additional education for children in the field of maritime, river and railway transport, conducted in 2021 and 2022 and including 3,539 respondents from 37 regions of the Russian Federation. The results of the study provide grounds for adjusting the concept of staffing in the transport industry, as well as for developing approaches to assessing the effects of early career guidance for students in the system of additional education organizations for children.
