Кто прав – ячейка или ее актив? Коллизия индивидуального и общественного в раннесоветской журнальной пропаганде (на примере рассказа П. Магера «Скрипач Андро»)
During the Great Turn, magazines became a crucial tool of Soviet propaganda. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the mechanisms of transmission of the ideology and its assimilation by readers through a literary text (P. Mager's short story «Andro the Violinist») and the following discussion in the several issues of the Komsomol magazine «Smena» published in 1928. The story was meant to make readers reflect on the problem of the individual and public interests raised at the 8th Komsomol Congress (which, judging by the letters to the editorial board, they managed to do), and to stimulate them to critically perceive «kosnost’» («rigidity») of the party members depicted in the story. We applied methods of qualitative and quantitative (frequent lexemes) analysis.
