The purpose of this article was to find out the factors contributing to the spread of COVID-19 in developing and developed countries.
The article tried to show the main reasons and the peculiar difference in the COVID-19 spread across nations and how much civil liberties index, health security index, median age and population size impacted the speed of COVID-19 spread. This study is the frist of its kind that confirmed the unique role of civil liberties in impacting the spread of COVID-19 across nations.
The paper highlighted what should be the role and strategic responses of government and international organizations in times of global emergencies.
