"Оленные" камни на Алтае: опыт современного документирования
At the present stage of the study of "deer" stones in the Altai there is a need for systematization of information about them using the possibilities of comprehensive fixation. For this purpose, the authors offer the universal technique of photogrammetric documentation with the subsequent visualization of a relief of a surface by mathematical algorithms. The methods of data acquisition and formation of three-dimensional polygonal models, methods of surface topography visualization contributing to better display of images, including poorly preserved knockouts, are described. The wide possibilities of applying this technique to museum collections as well as to stones in situ are demonstrated. The advantages over analogue developments are highlighted. The experience of using the tested method for documenting and studying the statues located near the village of Inya in the Ongudai region of the Republic of Altai is considered.
