‘This Format Turned Each Presentation Into a Collaborative Effort to Assess the Robustness of the Study
On October 16, 2026, HSE ICEF hosted the Eighth International Conference on Applied Economics. Held fully on-site, the conference brought researchers from HSE University, the New Economic School, Wuhan University, and Shandong University together in Moscow. The programme was organised around three overarching themes— ‘Environment, Resources and Policy,’ ‘Migration, Labour, and Communication,’ and ‘Consumption, Behaviour, and Climate—offering an opportunity to see how similar economic mechanisms operate in China, Pakistan, the United States, and Russia.

This paper was published in April 2023 by collecting only outstanding thesis presentations during the academic conference presentations held at the University of Wrocław in Poland in 2021. CEESOK Journal of Korean Studies: An Inter-disciplinary Research for Development of Korean Studies. The event was held with the support of the Korea Central Research Institute. The papers are selected from four sections: Korean language education, Korean culture and society, Korean literature, and Korean pre-modern history. High School of Economics Kim Hye-ran, in the Korean language education section, "A study on the heterogeneous North and South Korean linguistic vocabulary – About Vocabulary in Inter-Korean Textbooks for Korean Language Learners in Russia" from page 25 to page 51. This is a collection of materials attended and presented by professors from Eastern Europe University and professors from universities in Seoul.
