This collection in memory of the Professor of St. Petersburg University Elena Vladimirovna Dushechkina (1941-2020) contains scholary articles and memoirs written by literary scholars, historians, anthropologists - her colleagues, friends and students from around the world. The topics of the articles presented in this collection reflect a wide range of issues raised by Professor Dushechkina in her own articles and books - from the poetics and textual criticism of Medieval Russian literature to modern calendar rituals. The memoir section contains materials about the life and work of the scholar. The book is of interest to researchers, university faculty, and students in the fields of humanities and social sciences, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in the problems of Russian literature and culture.
