ВЛИЯНИЕ УРОВНЯ ДОХОДА НА ЦЕННОСТНЫЕ УСТАНОВКИ ИНДИВИДОВ НА ГЛОБАЛЬНОМ УРОВНЕ

A study conducted using quantitative analysis of the World Values Survey database shows that richer people are more likely to adhere to self-expression values, including trusting people more, being more tolerant of homosexuality, and being more willing to sign petitions and participate in protests than poor people. At the same time, we cannot state that rich people are unequivocally more committed to secular rational values as opposed to traditional religious values. For example, richer people are more inclined to such traditional religious values (according to R. Inglehart) as being more positive about marriage, being more active members of church organizations, being more positive about inequality and competition, and being proud of their national identity.
