The article presents an original interpretation of individualization of education in the coming global era of ecocentrism. It is the new educational strategies, aimed at unlocking individual creative potential of an individual, that become a reliable basis for global competitiveness and sustainable development of a modern state. At the same time, the thesis "from personal benefit to the common good" is becoming the dominant practical orientation of new educational strategies, which is quite in line with the modern global ecological trend. The new epoch of eco-centrism implies harmonious coordination between growing human needs and the planetary ecosystem. New digital technologies in education and integrated scientific research, which create modern scientific and educational ecosystems, can play a significant role in this harmonization. These ecosystems can effectively address not only educational challenges, but also make long-term predictions and model the consequences of decisions taken.
