Медиатизация терминов как активный процесс (на примере функционирования терминов когнитивистики)
The aim of the study is to analyze the functioning of the terms of cognitive linguistics in the media discourse. Contexts, where terminological units get into media texts, is studied in the aspect of their mediatization, which occurs during the intersection of media and scientific discourses under the influence of current social processes. Cases of the use of units both in terminological meaning and with semantics unusual for cognitive science are studied. The research material was collected from popular online media sites using a keyword search tool. The research methods were component analysis, comparative analysis, contextual and discursive analysis. The result of the study is a description of the semantic processes that occur with the terms of cognitive linguistics in media texts (expansion or narrowing of semantics, the emergence of new semes).
