The article is devoted to the analysis of traditional and new trends in the perception of the Russian capital and linguistic means of representing Moscow in Russian poetry of the XXIst century, among which the most frequent are lexical (metaphors and epithets) and syntactic (sentence with homogeneous members, rhetorical exclamations and antithesis).
