This monograph is a product of collaboration between Russian and Vietnamese researchers who have been following the development of bilateral ties over several decades. Monograph gives a valuable historic context of Russian-Vietnamese economic cooperation while also discussing potential repercussions of such events as integration processes in the post-Soviet space and Asia Pacific, changes in economic development model of Vietnam, postpandemic recovery of the world economy in years to come. Authors analyze major obstacles and opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment and energy, and suggest possible direction for corrections. Challenges of the COVID-19 pandemics are also discussed.
