Зависимость между человеческим капиталом и самосохранительным поведением
Terra Economicus. 2010. Т. 8. № 4. С. 20-36.
The paper develops an approach to health behavior as one determined by market value of human capital. A model is presented in which an individual demand for health is a function of a premium for an individual human capital. The main idea of the paper is tested on the data on consumption of alcohol and drugs. A comparison of various approaches to analysis of health behavior, including that developed in the paper, is presented in terms of their main explanatory variables, key predictions, and implications.
