Using Portraits of N-Norms for Large-Scale Investigation of Circuits with Modal Reservation
The study proposes to improve the process of large-scale investigation of circuits with modal reservation demonstrated on the example of double-sided printed-circuit board (PCB) with polygons. The TALGAT software was used as a simulation environment. The five different portraits (values along the conductor) of N-norms were obtained for each of the three signals: trapezoidal ultrashort pulse, real ultrashort pulse, and electrostatic discharge. The maximum and minimum values of N-norms are given. The features of dependencies behavior were identified. The analysis of simulation results revealed a large number of increases in the values of N-norms along the conductor relative to the input. To perform quick formalized assessment of signal propagation peculiarities in the circuits under study, we propose to use the portraits of N-norms. This work is part of the large-scale investigation of circuits with modal reservation.
