For this reason, comparison of such indicators as the frequency of consumption of basic foodstuffs, the purchasing power of average per capita monetary income of the population for basic foodstuffs, consumption of basic foodstuffs in rural and urban households, the composition of foodstuffs and the energy value of consumed foodstuffs, etc. among residents of urban and rural territories allows us to draw conclusions about the general level of well-being in these territories. In general, there is a small but constant lag in the indicators of the village from the indicators of the city, which was only strengthened by the negative impact of the pandemic of coronavirus infection in 2020. The basis of this study is statistics published by Rosstat.
