The book introduces the basics of preparing a scientific publication. Author discuss the types of scientific publications and basic stages of preparation, including setting the goal and research question, discussion of the structural parts of a scientific article. This book consists of five chapters. At the end of each chapter, readers find a list of control questions that allows them to reinforce and memorize the studied material. Special attention is paid to writing a literature review as an independent article. There are useful tips regarding how to write the methodology, results, discussion and conclusion. The final chapter devotes the topic about the teamwork, the role of authors of the publication, and criteria for successful teamwork. Learning the materials of the book will be useful and fruitful for researchers engaged in scientific work and will allow them to effectively prepare high-quality scientific publications
